Introduction

CSi International Lanka (PVT) Ltd is a logistics company that imports bulk quantities of products and distributes them for local vendors. The company has been in business for over xx years, they have managed the process throughout using paper based documentation and invoicing which was time consuming and labour intensive.

The company wanted to adapt to a better approach to seamlessly get their work done.

Objective

The objectives of the project was to:

Build a web based application that could increase process effectiveness.
Migrate all existing data into the new system
Manage Shipment, Customer, Supplier and Product Information effectively
Manage Orders and Inquiries effectively
Implement System to AWS Cloud

The Solution

After requirements elicitation and prototyping,

we broke down the system into components to get the development processes going smoothly. As per our requirements specifications, the breakdown of the system is as follows:

Dashboard Design - This will show the graphical view of the summarized data. This shows the holistic view of sales distributed per customer, sales distributed per supplier, sales distributed per industry and the sales graph. Also the upcoming (ETA) and pending shipment details will be listed down in the dashboard.
