Stassen Tea is one of Sri Lanka’s most esteemed tea brands, famed for its long heritage of producing high‑quality Pure Ceylon teas and pioneering organic tea cultivation in the country. With a legacy dating back to 1977 and distribution to over 80 countries, Stassen’s tea portfolio appeals to connoisseurs and everyday tea lovers alike.
To support its international and local retail ambitions, Stassen sought a refined and scalable e‑commerce platform that would elevate the online shopping experience for customers, showcase their diverse product range, and provide the internal team with easy tools to manage products, promotions, and inventory.

With a wide range of teas (e.g. traditional black teas, organic options, gift packs), the client required a backend system that allowed them to manage product listings, pricing, stock levels, and discount campaigns without dependency on developers.
As an internationally recognized tea brand, the platform needed to reliably serve traffic from different regions and handle promotional periods with high traffic volumes.
